Stephanie Young Consultants (SYC) provides comprehensive, person-centered support for individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral challenges. 1) Behavior Support Services offers behavioral support to individuals residing in adult residential facilities. Through behavior management consultation, we equip direct care providers with training and intervention strategies to effectively manage and modify challenging behaviors while teaching functional replacement skills. Compliance with Title 17 Requirements (Service Code 620 or contract) 2) Crisis Support Services (CSS) is a community-based crisis intervention team that delivers specialized crisis prevention and emergency response counseling for individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health disorders. (Service Code 017) 3) START is a mobile team providing Systemic, Therapeutic, Assessment, Resources and Treatment to individuals and their support system. (Service Code 029) 4) The Whole Person Assessment (WPA) is a comprehensive clinical evaluation designed to provide the transitional team with evidence-based recommendations to facilitate a successful reintegration from the individual's current placement into the community. (Service Code 056) 5) Community Care Licensed (CCL) approved Behavior Intervention Trainings are designed to equip parents, residential staff, and regional center professionals with evidence-based strategies for managing challenging behaviors while maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment.
