Evolibri

EvoLibri provides direct services to neurodiverse teens (14+ only) and adults and their families: · Therapy – our therapists use a variety of modalities including CBT, DBT/Mindfulness, and EMDR to work through issues around anxiety, depression, ‘stuckness’, and ambivalence about moving forward with life. We also provide family and parent counseling to help teach families how to coexist with neurodiversity. · Coaching – our directive coaching takes many forms, ranging from meeting a client at a local college to register for classes to helping an engineer at a local tech company manage an increasingly complex workload. We teach our clients how to problem-solve while helping them move forward. · Career/Employment – our career coaching is designed to help clients identify where their interests and talents lie, and how to build a path to those goals. We also provide employment readiness training, employment placement services, and job coaching after hire. We are a Department of Rehabilitation vendor throughout the State of California and work closely with several Neurodiversity at Work programs. · Independent Living Skills – our paraprofessionals meet the client where they are – literally and figuratively – to teach skills such as using transit, setting up and keeping a budget, manage their time to get homework done, grocery shop and cooking. We teach so that others can do for themselves. · Social Groups – we host weekly social groups for older teens and young adults, using the time-honored formula of pizza and board games. We also run a monthly Parenting Beyond 18 no-host dinner for parents, and the Network for Autistic Professionals, an online forum to connect with other autistic employees in the area. · Classes and Group – besides our more informal get-togethers, EvoLibri regularly offers several classes: PEERS® Social Skills, Workplace Adaptability, CEO of Self Executive Functioning, LifeLaunch ILS Skills, and others. Add yourself to our newsletter to stay in touch. Transition IEEs – our comprehensive transition IEEs are based on career/vocational assessments, needs assessment of independent living skills, client and parent interviews, and review of recent IEPs and psycho-educational assessments. Our plans highlight areas of need as well as a path forward for students, listing needed and suggested services, programs, and schools. Direct Student and Family Services – all of our services for individuals and families are available as contracted student services in the South Bay Area. Services may be made available in other locations for settlement cases. In-Service for Educators – we offer a variety of in-service trainings for educators, including working with autistic students, writing Transition Plans that work. Settlement Agreements – we can work with students and their families whose funding comes from settlements. We ask that we are brought on to the process prior to adjudication as we have years of experience in how these programs best function over time. EvoLibri provides direct services to neurodiverse teens (14+ only) and adults and their families: · Neurodiversity Programs – we offer a range of services dependent on your needs, not our bank account. Whether you are a small ‘Mom and Pop’ shop or a Fortune 500 company, we can customize a program that walks you through the stages of corporate sponsorship, funding sources, internal training, candidate engagement, vetting, hiring, onboarding and maintaining your program over time. Our job is to make your job simple. · Job Coaching – whether you have a formal neurodiversity program or not, you likely have employees who are neurodiverse and who may need specialized job coaching to excel at their jobs. We provide coaching on time management, stress reduction, communication skills, and much, much more. · Peer Training – as much as we would all like to have inclusive workplaces, sometimes peers have challenges or bias against those with hidden differences. We can provide 1:1 or group training to eliminate misconceptions and stress in the workplace to normalize neurodiversity. · Job Registry – if you are looking for a job, please sign up on our job registry, and we will match you with any jobs we hear about, at no cost to you! And if you are a company looking for talent, contact us! · Partners – we work with a variety of companies and organizations to bring neurodiversity programming and coaching to their organizations.
