PALS Programs

PALS Programs are residential summer camps for individuals with Down syndrome and their peers. Individuals with Down syndrome are paired with a peer and together the pair are placed on a team led by highly trained volunteer leaders. Our programs are fully inclusive and focus on integrating into our local community: we take trips off-campus to exclusive local partnerships and engage in unique on-campus activities, all the while building transformative, lifelong friendships and learning the true meaning of inclusion. For our participants, their week at camp is the best week of their year in the best place on earth with their family away from home, and for families our programs offer a week of respite in a safe space where all of our participants are welcome, included and important. Our volunteer-led programs change attitudes, transform lives, and inspire a world of belonging.
