TIDE Employment Program

TIDE stands for: Transformation through Inclusion, Development, and Empowerment The TIDE Program was created by passionate advocates who have backgrounds in vocational training and employment support for individuals with disabilities. The TIDE program is committed to creating an inclusive and empowering space where individuals with disabilities can transform their lives, actively contribute to their community, and find joy in both personal and professional development. By joining TIDE through the Self-Determination Program, you gain the flexibility and autonomy to direct services that align with your loved one's goals. Empower them to make choices, set objectives, and actively shape their future with the support of TIDE. TIDE operates as a community-based program and does not have a dedicated facility. Instead, we will make use of the beautiful outdoors and various local community spaces, including libraries and churches. Our primary location will be in the Del Mar area, but there may be occasions where we explore and utilize spaces in other parts of San Diego. TIDE is not a vendor of the San Diego Regional Center and can only be covered through Self-Determination funding or privately. Our program includes: Vocational training Community exploration Job placement Volunteer placement Non-stop fun!
