Esperanza Tapia
I graduated SDSU in 2019 with a B.S in Child Development. I have experience over 8 years of working with individuals with disabilities. I was previously an ABA Technician provided services for individuals with disabilities and related disorders. I have worked for San Diego Regional Center providing services for adults with development disabilities. I have collaborated with families and providers to ensure their needs and wants are being met. I have supported individuals by focusing on their strengths, desires, and goals. I pride myself in being person-centered and wanting to collaborate with providers to ensure we are working together to best support. I am currently working in Early Intervention assessing children with developmental delays. However, my passion is in advocating for individuals to ensure their voices are heard and recognized. As an advocate who understands rights and services I want to provide my skills to support individuals feel included in the planning process. Naviga
