Mariana Guerrero

My name is Mariana Guerrero and I have a sister with Cerebral Palsy; She is the reason why I have decided to work as an independent facilitator. I have worked for over 25 years with children and adults with developmental disabilities. I have advocated for individuals in Ventura, San Diego and Los Angeles counties. My passion comes from working with diverse families and understanding their cultures. I have experience with ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) intervention and have performed behavioral assessments for individuals with conduct disorders. I worked individually with children and adults with emotional disorders at school and home. Furthermore, I also teach (Discrete Trial Training) known as DTT, Floor time, Play Therapy, Adaptive Social Skills, Coping, and Behavioral Intervention. In addition, I know sign language and the picture exchange communication system known as PECS. I was Director of Operations for a Supported Living program known as Supported Living Services (SLS) where I helped develop this program.
