Maliaka Mitchell

Maliaka Mitchell holds a Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in
Rehabilitation from the California State University of Los Angeles. She
provides expertise in 15+ years of hands-on experience and has held a position as a lead teacher, therapist, supervisor, program developer, independent facilitator for Self-Determination, and consultant. She is proficient in working with children and adults diagnosed with developmental, emotional, and intellectual disabilities.

Recently, Maliaka has expanded her services and developed Maliaka & Associates, LLC to provide multiple resources, services, and programs emphasizing person-centered planning. Maliaka & Associates' mission is to provide support services that foster social inclusion for individuals with disabilities. Learning and discovering the appropriate support allows families and professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in forming essential healthy and productive lifestyles. This service provides a foundation for individuals with disabilities to access community resources and events that promote social justice and equality. This core value will be a base for all Maliaka & Associates team services to individuals across all environments. We want a culture that is inclusive for everyone.
