Kavita S
One of the co-founders of PRAGNYA, a nonprofit community based organization supporting neurodiversity acculturation, Kavita is also a parent of a 20 year old neurodivergent young lady whose neurodiversity manifests as Autism, PDA, ODD, and a whole host of other co-occurring mental health conditions as well. She is a NeuroAlly, where she volunteers her time supporting families and self advocates across the state to pursue their hopes and dreams through obtaining the supports they need from the system, by navigating and helping advocate for the same. She is a Person Centered Planner, Independent Facilitator, Self Determination Transition Coach and a Supported Decision Making Navigator. Kavita serves as the Co chair of the Self Determination Advisory Committee at the San Andreas Regional center and also hosts weekly, monthly support groups, workshops and trainings at no cost to the community as a community leader at PRAGNYA.
