Rosie Lasca, founder and owner of the Independent Facilitator Training Academy (IFTA) is a highly accomplished advocate and project manager with over 14 years of experience in diverse fields. Rosie's passion extends beyond training and advocacy for the developmental disability community. With a personal commitment as a mother to a young man with disabilities, she has used her platform at IFTA to champion self-determination and diversity in the field. She has also leveraged her prior experience as a Parent Advocate to foster understanding and create impactful services for individuals with disabilities. Having represented the United States at international conferences and featured in prominent media outlets, Rosie continues to contribute significantly to promoting diversity and inclusivity. Her mission is encapsulated in her personal motto: "Help people by empowering voices, igniting dreams: Advocating for self-determination with expertise, passion, and heart."
