Christine Kantor

Christine Kantor is an active IF and PCP facilitator, working with children and adults, across Regional Centers. She was appointed by the SCDD to the SDLAC Committee at GGRC, and is part of the Bay Area Self Determination Committee Web Site Advisors. Her particular skill lies in helping Regional Center staff and families align on the changes needed in navigating multi-sided complexities of choice which pulls from her extensive knowledge related to philosophies, resources, policy and regulations, and the foundational skills required to navigate relational and communication barriers successfully. To help pioneering families transition into SDP, she draws from her global experience in organizational development (establishing new offices), human resources (people), insurance (interpretation of codes/laws and assessment of risk), advocacy (what makes Free & Appropriate Education meaningful, mentoring families, doctors, medical students and Special Education educators), start-ups (bringing
