Ruperta Kwong

My name is Ruperta Kwong. As an Asian American who considers myself a 1.5 generation immigrant, I am fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin. My previous work experience as a graphic designer in a product development team and then as an executive assistant to an accounting service company prepared me to navigate situations that require problem-solving and effective communication. I also have had extensive experience in customer service in the food industries, being committed to servicing others. Meanwhile, my own experience as a parent of my son with severe autism has allowed me to gain skills in planning, navigating the service systems, and advocating for his needs. I have since then used my experience in supporting the families of several of his friends in the SDP process. I am dedicated to helping others by tailoring their Person-Centered Plan and spending plan to their specific, individualized needs, while respecting their cultures and family needs.
