Our mission centers around delivering comprehensive independent living training and support, fostering personal growth, greater independence, and self-advocacy skills. Examples of skills that will be taught, demonstrated, and reinforced include, but are not limited to, community integration, home and community safety, household management, basic money management, shopping, use of public transportation, self-advocacy training, use of community resources, scheduling appointments, and personal health and hygiene. Most services are expected to be provided in the individual’s home, businesses in the community, or at recreation centers. However, services provided and locations of services will be determined by individual choice and needs, which can be amended at any time. Our goal is to empower individuals, enabling them to embrace fulfilling and self-determined lives.</p>
